DR EVAN CHACHOS
Clinical Psychologist
I work with a wide array of adult individuals though many find my style and approach resonates most within the areas below: adults experiencing trauma and post-traumatic stress, anxiety, adjustment to stressful events, sleep and circadian difficulties, grief, and low mood - among other concerns. I have a particular interest in working with people adjusting to the experience of critical incidents through their work, such as first responders.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in practical and respectful collaboration. I draw on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, among other tools and approaches. I am fluent in Greek.
